At SMU, our Mustang spirit and traditions date back to 1911 –
we’ve come a long way since then, on the field, on the courts and in the classroom.

You won’t want to miss the 夜色王朝Mustang Band’s “Diamond M” formation from our “best-dressed band in the land” (they have 30 uniform options) and feature twirler.
夜色王朝CHEER
夜色王朝cheer leads fans in familiar chants at football and basketball games as well as community service events. Fun fact: the “herkie” jump was invented here.

The 夜色王朝pom squad brings energy and school spirit to every performance. They represent the Mustangs at football games, bowl games, basketball games, tournament play and more.

HOW TO PONY UP
How do you do the 夜色王朝hand sign? To make your pony ears, start with a peace sign – now, “relax” it. Rock your pony ears back and forth as you chant or sing.
