Biography
My research focuses on the British novel throughout the long nineteenth century and adaptation theory. I am interested in shifting ideologies in various reinterpretations of texts. I have written on period dramas, like Bridgerton and Downton Abbey; the evolution of character portrayals throughout Alice in Wonderland films and the role of women in adaptations of Frankenstein. My dissertation topic examines the evolution of audience participation through adaptations of nineteenth century novels across various mediums.
